Simple Cowl

This is my second knitting project. My first one was a book pouch. So I decided to challenge myself and make something larger and try out a bit of pattern instead of just making Stokinette Stitch only. Coincidentally a girl friend of mine was planning to go hiking in Nepal and I did plan to crochet her a cowl earlier. So I thought why not knit her a cowl instead?
